Submitting a form or contacting Smith and Sewell does not create a consulting engagement. Engagements are established through a written agreement defining scope, deliverables, and terms.

All content, frameworks, and materials on this site are the property of Smith and Sewell unless otherwise noted.

Grant Services

• Letter of Intent / Short Application fees are flat. Standard Application fees start at $1,500, and any additional fee is agreed with the client in writing before work continues. Government and complex applications are priced by quote.
• No award is guaranteed. Fees cover the work of preparing and submitting an application, not the outcome.
• Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, supplying requested documents on time, and approving drafts by the agreed date. If approval comes after the agreed date, we submit as soon as possible, but meeting the deadline is then at the client's risk.
• We only submit an application with the client's written approval.
• Refunds: writing fees are fully refundable until setup begins and non-refundable once work has started. The Grant Digest can be canceled anytime; access continues to the end of the billing period, with no partial refunds.
• Confidentiality: client information is stored securely and used only to deliver our services. We use AI tools to assist with drafting.
